The Silk Standard

1. OUR PRICING PHILOSOPHY

We are a family-owned, independent barbershop. We believe in straightforward pricing without hidden "booking" or "convenience" fees.

  • No Booking Fees: Unlike many platforms, we do not charge a fee to book an appointment.

  • We Cover the Cost: We absorb the 2.2% online transaction fee for your deposit as a business expense.

  • Secure Your Slot: A non-refundable deposit is required for all online bookings to protect the livelihood of our independent barbers.

  • Final Balance: The remaining balance is payable in-store via card or digital tap.

 

2. RATES & PROCESSING

We believe in fair, transparent pricing and a modern, efficient workflow.

  • Cashless Premises: For the security and efficiency of our barbershop, we do not accept cash. All payments are via card or digital tap.

  • Online Bookings: 0% Added Fees. We absorb the transaction cost for your deposit.

  • In-Store Card Payments: A standard 1.6% processing fee applies to all payments made via our Square terminal.

  • In-Store Afterpay: A 6.6% processing fee applies if you choose to pay your remaining balance using Afterpay.

  • Public Holidays: To support our team, a 15% service adjustment applies to all bookings on public holidays.

 

3. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

We ask that you respect our time as much as we respect yours.

  • Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations.

  • Rescheduling: You may move your appointment up to 4 hours before your scheduled time.

  • No-Shows / Late Cancellations: If you miss your appointment or cancel within the 24-hour window, the deposit is non-refundable.

 

4. ARRIVAL & ACCESS

  • Check-in: Please arrive 5 minutes early to ensure a relaxed, Master-level experience.

  • Executive Drive-In: Please call the barbershop upon arrival at the security gate for remote concierge entry.

 

5. BOOKING ACCURACY

  • Correct Selection: To guarantee the high-detail finish Silk is known for, please ensure you book the correct service.

  • Policy: Incorrect bookings that result in a scheduling conflict may be subject to rescheduling, and the original deposit will be forfeited to cover the lost session time.
